Music I listen to
oh...
all sorts. Casting Crowns, Evanescence, FooFighters, Fireflight, Sarah McLaughlin... most current alternative (my Sirius radio with a gazillion channels is
usually on just one, the alternative channel)... some country of the "outlaw" variety (used to go to Willie and Waylon concerts when I lived out
west), can tolerate a few rap types if the lyrics actually have some meaning to them and are performed in a known language, no death metal or any screamed
lyrics...sorry, if you cannot understand what they are saying, then it has no purpose other than noise.
Another good group to check out? Newsboys...a Christian Rock band that produces some amazing music...yes, I think you would love em..

Well Hello there again
Hello and welcome to November Folks...
Yes, tis that time of year again...the clocks have changed, ruining my chances of
ever seeing the sun again until spring...darn that time change thing. I go to work in the
dark, get out work just at sunset now, so I develop my kinship with the moles and bats,
living in eternal darkness....booo! I hope you all survived Halloween and now we look
forward to Thanksgiving...hmmm, two holidays devoted to proving just how many calories
one person can consume in one day...lol. In between though is a holiday many overlook,
but should not. Veterans Day...Please, take time this month to thank every man and
woman in uniform for their service, and thank those who served in wars past for
the freedoms we take for granted. Make this a MONTH long effort...not just a single
day. Their service is far too important to give them only a single day of rememberance!

Hoping all of my friends are doing well..and for those that are doing a bit less than well,
please let me know. I do care about each of you, and I do spend time in prayer and concern
for anyone who asks... no, Im not going to "force" my beliefs on you...but ya never know,
hang around me long enough and you might catch it... Remember, you may not believe in God,
but He believes in you...no matter what the state of your heart or life. If you have a chance
and are open to it, listen to the Newsboy Video I posted in my music i listen to..."Stay Strong"

I was sorta asked to go take some more from around here...so go check em out..
Who am I? well.. Not quite a space alien...but sometimes a total curmudgeon! lol
so...at the request of no one in particular, here is stuff about me...
Engineer/CNC programmer/Toolmaker (yeah, i bounce around from one to another part of my "job description" as whim strikes my employer) . My favorite
part of my job though is design work, which I do mainly in Solidworks, a fantastic 3-D modelling
program. The welcome greeting above was done in SW by me in about 2 or 3 minutes, and then rendered with its
powerful tools...its a lot of fun working in that program.

Living fairly happily in a smallish town in western NH sharing my house with an oversized malamute who believes it is his house. If you want to see either my
malamute or the area I live in...go to my images folders. I slowly am putting some of my 13 million photos up onto the profile.
Political junkie (no kidding) with a strong belief that the less government we have, the more freedom each person has.
Christian, who has been overseas to do mission work with orphans, and domestically doing mission work with bikers and prisoners.
(Now, alas, doing less than I should for others and missing the work) 
Lover of alternative music who is connected hard to my Sirius radio. 
Player of WOW (World of Warcraft) when I can (usually a night elf if that makes sense to you...) . Its an addictive game that is seemingly endless. Yes,
perhaps time to go to rehab for Warcraft...lol. After all, I even purchased the vile versions of Mountain Dew that featured WOW on the outside...that shows a
serious problem I believe..lol.
As for the pictures in my "images" folders. Yes, those are photographs I took. I have dabbled in photography for ...ahem... a long time. Even went to
Goddard College in Vermont for an intensive education in the subject from some extremely talented people. Not saying that I by osmosis became extremely
talented (I am not...I would love to have the vision of an Ansel Adams or Ed Weston...ah well), just saying that I do know more than how to push the button and
all.

Yes, I am a carnivore...happily so. All these centuries of us climbing to the top of the food chain and we are supposed to just eat veggies? hmmm, I don't
think so. Okay, I will admit to enjoying Amy's Organic veggie lasagna...and I take Kashi veggie stuff to work for lunches....but get your hands away from
my steaks or I will bite! grrrrrrr

Dropping in to say hello. How was your day? My external hard drive broke and I have been trying to transfer all my files. What a pain! LOL. I called the manufacturer and it is still under warranty so then are going to send me a new one!..Hope that one works LOL Have a great evening.

Hi there. I have been distracted with a capital D. I finally found my 'dream house' to buy, but now the tough part of trying to make it come together. Today is my son's 8th birthday. I am taking cupcakes up to this class later and this evening we will take him out to eat at Steak and Shake. He loves it there because they give kids paper cars to assemble. LOL. It is sunny and warm here - about 70 degrees. Perfect weather.
